On February 6, we hosted an experiential workshop for over 20 faculty members to help provide a better understanding of what students with disabilities and learning differences experience on a daily basis. The workshop featured 3 different stations which simulated visual disabilities, dyslexia, and auditory processing disorders. We also held a question / answer / discussion session at the end of the rotations, where we discussed methods of support. It was very well received by the faculty and we are looking forward to doing this again in the future.
